If you cannot attend your regular lab section due to illness, interviews, funerals, etc, let your lab instructor know prior to (or the day of) the lab. Arrangements can be made.

Valid Reasons (and required documentation) for missing a lab:

1.Personal illness.
2.Death of immediate family member. (death notice or documentation from funeral home)
3.Family emergency (doctor's or councillor's note on official stationary)
4.Team absences (coach's letter)

Work or vacations, or "I have a midterm today" are not valid reasons to miss labs.
Please note that attendance includes showing up on time and staying in the lab
until you have completed.

In order to receive a grade for each lab assignment, it is mandatory to complete the assignment during the scheduled lab period. For instance, if your lab period is on Monday from 8:30 am to 11:20 am, your lab work will be graded within this time slot. As the lab assignments are available online, you have the flexibility to work on them in advance. Please note that late submissions will not be accepted. However, if you provide the lab instructor with a valid reason, late submission maybe considered at the discretion of your laboratory instructor.
